Fertility Doula
A bereavement doula provides compassionate support to individuals and families navigating the heartbreaking experience of pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or the death of a newborn. They offer emotional guidance, a comforting presence, and practical resources to help individuals and families cope with grief, navigate the mourning process, and find ways to honor and remember their lost child. Bereavement doulas listen without judgment, create a safe space for expression, and offer empathy and understanding during a profoundly challenging and emotional time.
Some examples of Fertility Doula services are:

Offering guidance on coping mechanisms, rituals, and ways to honor and remember the lost child, such as creating memory keepsakes, facilitating ceremonies, or suggesting supportive resources for healing

Offering guidance on creating mementos or keepsakes to honor the memory of the lost child, such as hand or footprints, memory boxes, or personalized tributes

Providing ongoing support as needed, recognizing that grief is a nonlinear process and being available to offer continued support and understanding over an extended period

Providing referrals and connections to support groups, counselors, or other professionals specializing in bereavement and grief counseling to further aid in the healing process
